Congratulations Great North Runners 2022

On Sunday 11th September 2022, 80 fantastic fundraisers ran 13.1 Miles through Newcastle to South Shields

Each year, tens of thousands of people come together to run the Biggest Half Marathon in Newcastle, United Kingdom. This year, Teesside Hospice had 63 people running, and each raising at least £300 in sponsorship.

With thousands of pounds raised towards the essential care for local people, it's an experience of a lifetime whilst making memories for families that will last a lifetime.

After collecting their Finishers Medal, the Great North Runners made their way to the Charity Village to enjoy a massage, refreshments and time with their families and friends to share their experience

Seeing our supporters having such a wonderful day with their friends and family was great. We are thankful that our staff & volunteers can share such a special day with all of those that took part, it is a privilege.
