You may feel like you're just doing your bit, but the help you provide is vital. We understand how this can sometimes affect you physically, emotionally and financially and we are here to support you.

Carers Group

If you are a carer and you’re struggling at home, or need practical advice to help look after your loved ones, this support group is for you. This group meets virtually once a week on a Wednesday, 12pm until 1pm. If you are interested please give us a call on 01642 811072 and pass your email to a member of staff from the Wellbeing Centre.

Practical support

Caring for someone with a long-term illness can affect all aspects of life, as well as day-to-day activities. It can affect relationships, employment, income, housing and emotional well-being. Our Social Worker is here to help to minimise stress and improve the quality of life for all affected.

Emotional support

We also provide bereavement support for families dealing with the death of someone close. Your bereavement does not have to be linked to our hospice in order for you to access counselling.
