Group Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £49,894 (full time equivalent).

Department: Fundraising & Communications

Location: Teesside Hospice Group Offices

Teesside Hospice and Butterwick Hospice are coming together with a shared vision: to ensure that everyone who needs hospice care can access the very best support, now and in the future.

Together, we already support over 6,700 people each year across Tees Valley and County Durham—but we know the need is growing. By combining our expertise, resources and ambition, we are building a stronger, more sustainable future for hospice care.

We are now looking for an exceptional Group Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy to play a critical role in that future.

This is a rare opportunity to lead and shape a high-value fundraising function across two respected hospices.

You will drive ambitious income growth across:

  • Trusts and foundations
  • Corporate partnerships
  • Major donors

You’ll lead a team building powerful relationships with high-value supporters, and personally secure transformational gifts that will directly impact patient care.

This is both a strategic leadership role and a hands-on fundraising role — ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing significant gifts and leading high-performing teams.

Why join us?

  • Be part of a local transformation in hospice care
  • Work across two respected organisations with deep community roots
  • Shape and lead a new, integrated philanthropy function
  • See the direct impact of your work on patients and families
  • Join a passionate, ambitious and values-driven team
