We have appointed a new Corporate Partnerships Manager to take care of corporate development, as we aim to reach ever-growing demand for our services.
Hassan Hameed has joined our team to nurture relationships with existing corporate partners and supporters and build a pipeline for new supporters, as we continue to help people of Teesside live as well as possible for as long as possible.
Before joining Teesside Hospice, Hassan worked as an Executive Manager for a recruitment firm for several years, taking care of business development, operations and finance.
Speaking about his appointment, Hassan said: “I’m looking forward to working with our amazing supporters, who share our vision to provide better end of life care to the people of Teesside. I’m also looking forward to connecting with new businesses and fundraisers so we can make a real difference together.
“I have a personal connection to the hospice as some of my family members have used the services, and so I have a lot of respect and admiration for what the teams do here.
“With demand rising and it currently costing around £6.75 million annually to run the hospice, we simply couldn’t operate without the generosity of our supporters. Every contribution means more than words can express.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know our current partners and meeting new ones across the region.”
As well as making a huge difference to the care we provide, as a corporate partner or supporter your business can also achieve ESG goals, raise awareness of your brand and improve employee experience.
There are many ways to become involved with corporate support, including financial contributions; sponsoring and attending events; volunteering with your team; or holding your own events in aid of the hospice.

We’re so lucky to be supported by amazing volunteers over the festive season, who help us provide care, offer a friendly welcome for visitors, and much more. This includes Dawn, who has been volunteering with Teesside Hospice for 4 years and gives up her time on Christmas Day to help patients and visitors feel as special as possible.
