Janet’s Volunteering Story
Janet is one of our wonderful meal service volunteers, gifting her time to serve lunches to our in-patients. Here she shares how she became involved with Teesside Hospice, and what she enjoys about her role.
"We are delighted to become corporate supporters for Teesside Hospice. The work that the charity does is amazing and we are happy to be part of it and to help where we can. We know first hand of the valuable work and care the hospice provides at such stressful time for patients and their families. We wanted to give our support to a local charity where we could really see close-up the work that was done and where the funding goes. We are looking forward to being part of the Teesside Hospice family!"
