Teesside Hospice is celebrating a dazzling success after our Disco Ball raised almost £30,000!

Held on Saturday 1st March at Hardwick Hall in Sedgefield, the event transported 240 guests back to the 1970s for a night of glitz, glamour and groove.

From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in disco fever, beginning with a sparkling Babycham drinks reception. The venue was adorned with disco balls on every table, setting the perfect scene for an evening of retro fun.

The night’s entertainment was provided by the talented L&A Elements, who performed energetic ‘70s medleys and disco routines that had everyone hitting the dancefloor.

A highlight of the evening was a lively Village People singalong, featuring five game guests dressed in full YMCA gear, showing off their moves and getting the crowd involved.

With guests donning their best black-tie attire and dancing the night away, the event was not just a celebration of music and nostalgia, but also a powerful fundraiser for Teesside Hospice. The money raised will go towards providing essential care and support for individuals and families affected by terminal illness in the local community.

“We are absolutely thrilled with the success of this year’s Disco Ball,” said organiser Julie Burniston, Teesside Hospice head of corporate development.

“The generosity and enthusiasm of our guests and supporters was overwhelming, and every penny raised will make a real difference to the lives of those we care for.”

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, donated and contributed to making the night so special.
