As part of our commitment to Second Hand September, we celebrated all things sustainable at our first ever SHS fashion show!!

In collaboration with The Northern School of Art, their fashion students have worked incredibly hard in transforming clothing that has been donated to our charity shops, into one of a kind pieces that they showcased on the runway for our audience of over 120 people to enjoy!

From reconstructing old MFC football tops to creating skirts out of men’s oversized shirts, the talent and passion for this campaign was amazing, and we’re so grateful for their support in bringing our Second Hand September vision to life ✨

We’d also like to wish a huge thank you to The Mill Pub, Stokesley for providing our guests with an amazing selection of charcuterie grazing boards and welcome drinks, as well as Abbie Lince Music for her incredible singing and music which made for the perfect ambience while our supporters shopped all things second hand from our retail stores.

And finally, to all of our volunteers and everyone who attended our fashion show and made it the success that it was, thank you! All of this would not be possible without your support, we hope you enjoyed it just as much as we did.

If you’d like to volunteer at fun events like this to support our hospice, check out what we’ve got coming soon on our events page and contact volunteering@teessidehospice.co.uk today!
