While I get to help others in fundraising and on the shop floor, I feel I’m also helping myself grow and improve my skills for the future in a fun, productive way.”

In her role, Carol offers complimentary therapies and a warm welcome to everyone coming in. We caught up with Carol to find out more about what her days look like – as well as a quickfire questions including why she loves working at Teesside Hospice.
Earlier this year, Lauren’s mam passed away on the Inpatient Unit at our hospice. In honour of her mam, Lauren has raised an amazing £3,000+ to support the care we provide to so many families across Teesside like hers.
We are delighted to share that Teesside Hospice has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating following a rigorous inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)!
