Craig has been a long-standing patient of our Lymphoedema Clinic and comes to us for intensive treatment. Despite the toll this can take, it’s something he always looks forward to thanks to the kindness, compassion and humour of our team.
Hospice care is more than you think – it’s love, kindness and friendship. Ahead of this year’s Hospice Care Week, we spoke to Margaret and Wayne, who formed a bond while both staying on our In-Patient Unit.

In collaboration with The Northern School of Art, their fashion students have worked incredibly hard in transforming clothing that has been donated to our charity shops, into one of a kind pieces that they showcased on the runway for our audience of over 120 people to enjoy!
Fiona shared her wish to get married as she faced her terminal illness and wanted to make their commitment to each other as a couple with their young son.
