Karen and Judith share how volunteering as part of our reception and admin teams led to new careers within Teesside Hospice.
In her role, Carol offers complimentary therapies and a warm welcome to everyone coming in. We caught up with Carol to find out more about what her days look like – as well as a quickfire questions including why she loves working at Teesside Hospice.
Earlier this year, Lauren’s mam passed away on the Inpatient Unit at our hospice. In honour of her mam, Lauren has raised an amazing £3,000+ to support the care we provide to so many families across Teesside like hers.
We are delighted to share that Teesside Hospice has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating following a rigorous inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)!
We’re delighted to welcome Tapered Plus on board as a corporate partner!
There were 84 children and young people supported by our service from April 2025 to March 2026, a significant increase from 54 in the previous year.
