James was a regular listener and friend to Mark and John who run the ‘100 Things we learned from film’ podcast, and with an original £300 goal they smashed their fundraising and managed to raise an incredible £1,650!
Jenny shared, “During our challenge (Ullswater Way plus Dalemain Loop 26 miles) there were laughs, tears (emotional from me) but despite my nerves we made it round! Thank you to everyone for your kind words of encouragement, your well wishes, all your very generous donations and your support. I am completely overwhelmed. Thank you to Mark Plant and John Watson. Earlier this year, Lauren’s mam passed away on the Inpatient Unit at our hospice. In honour of her mam, Lauren has raised an amazing £3,000+ to support the care we provide to so many families across Teesside like hers.
We are delighted to share that Teesside Hospice has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating following a rigorous inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)!
