Brand New Store Open In Thornaby

We are so pleased to announce that Teesside Hospice have officially opened our 12th store this week. Our latest store opened on the 29th October in Thornaby, located at Unit 8 in the Pavilion.

Elaine Criddle, the Chair of the hospice visited to cut the ribbon, whilst welcoming our first customers. Other members of our marketing & fundraising team also attended to get some photo's of the store to showcase how great it looks on social media. Channon, one of our wonderful community fundraisers made some delicious cupcakes for everyone to enjoy at the store release. We had an amazing turnout from the public which was unexpected during the testing period the U.K is going through, but it just shows how wonderful the community spirit is in Thornaby and the surrounding areas, thank you to everyone that turned up for the launch, it was a proud and special day for everyone here at the hospice.

This store opening has been particularly exciting for us as this is our first store that features our newest branding. Including a completely new logo, a new inviting & welcoming colour scheme as well as new abstract shapes that are there to give a warm, fuzzy feel to the brand. We believe our Thornaby store breaks the stigma of what a charity typically looks like with it's modern styling, but we have still retained that familiar & snug feeling thanks to the amazing staff & volunteers providing warm welcomes and help.

You can expect to find a huge array of spectacular items (both pre-loved and brand new) for sale within our Thornaby store. Ranging from clothing, shoes, sneakers through to furniture, appliances, gift items & even our brand new calendars for 2021

The team of staff and volunteers who've helped with the opening of the Thornaby charity shop have been amazing. Is our Thornaby store too far for you? We have 11 charity shops throughout the region that rely on your kind donations of quality pre-loved items. Donating couldn’t be easier, simply pop your items into a bag and take them to your nearest shop. For a large item of furniture call 01642 811140. All funds raised from our shops go directly towards providing our care so items donated must be in a saleable condition.
