James Hampson - Trustee

James Hampson is a highly experienced infrastructure professional with over 30 years of expertise in the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. He holds a Master of Engineering degree and is a Chartered Engineer and certified member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Currently working for Agilia Infrastructure Partners, James brings a wealth of knowledge in operational management, risk management, and leadership to his role as trustee.

James's connection to Teesside Hospice is a deeply personal one, rooted in the care and compassion shown to his mother, who spent her final weeks at the hospice in 1997. This experience instilled in him a lasting admiration for the vital work the hospice carries out, and a heartfelt commitment to supporting its continued success.

Although now residing in Cambridgeshire with his partner Chloe and their two dogs, Jet and Bob, James retains a strong affinity with Teesside and is dedicated to giving back to the community the hospice serves. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching football and spending time with family.
