Major giving, grants and trusts are a vital source of income for Teesside Hospice.

It currently costs £6.5 million annually to run our services – that’s almost £18,000 every 24 hours. We receive just 30% of our funding from statutory sources, so the rest we need to raise ourselves in order to provide care at no cost to our patients.

Thanks to our major donors, trusts and foundations, we have been able to provide care to over 3,000 local people in Teesside. From Bariatric Ceiling Hoists in our In-Patient rooms to children’s Bereavement supplies and gardening updates, every grant has helped us continue our mission to help families make the most of every day.

Every single grant large or small makes a huge difference to people in our care across Teesside, and without this support we simply couldn’t do what we do. It can offer stability across our hospice to help us cover core services and the development of new projects.

We are continually looking for support at Teesside Hospice to help support our upcoming projects, so if you or any trust/foundation, no matter how big or small are interested in supporting the work at Teesside Hospice, please contact our team today!
