Thank you for thinking of Teesside Hospice for donating in lieu at your loved one’s funeral, memorial service or celebration of life.

By collecting donations for our hospice, you’re directly supporting the care we provide to over 3,000 people each year across Teesside. Without people like you, we simply couldn’t do what we do.

Organising a funeral collection is a special way to celebrate your loved one and leave a gift in their legacy. Here are the ways to organise your funeral collection:

Support from your funeral director

If you’re using a funeral director to help organise a funeral, they may be able to help with the collection and pay in the donations on your behalf.

Support from our team

If you would like to organise a funeral collection yourself, please contact our fundraising team today and we can support you every step of the way.

Creating an online donation page

Alternatively, you can create an online JustGiving page for your friends and family to donate to. This can also be shared with those who are unable to attend the funeral or wish to make a donation in their memory.

Here, you can add photos of your loved one, share their life story and donors can leave messages to share their condolences and memories.

To set up your JustGiving collection page, visit our In Memory Of fundraising page. If you require any support in creating your online donation page, please don’t hesitate to contact our team.

If you have already organised your funeral collection and would like to pay in the donations, here are the ways to do so:

  • Pay in donations online by visiting our donation page.
  • Email our team at fundraising@teessidehospice.co.uk or call 01642 811145
  • If you’ve organised your collection using JustGiving, there’s nothing you need to do, as the money will make its way directly to us.
