Take part in the Tees Heritage Walk 2025 for Teesside Hospice!

Now in its third year, this community walk takes you on a scenic journey along the River Tees, offering something for everyone, from families to avid walkers, all while raising funds for local charities.

This event is a perfect day out for families, friends, and individuals looking to support local causes while enjoying the beauty and history of the Tees Valley. Whether you’re walking for fitness or for fun, the Tees Heritage Walk brings everyone together for a day of connection, exploration, and making a difference. Plus, all participants get to raise funds for a charity of their choice, with every step contributing to a good cause!

The Tees Heritage Walk is packed with fascinating sights along the route:

  • Teessaurus Park – A fun stop for the whole family, where kids will love spotting the giant dinosaurs in this unique park.
  • Rotary Trees – Stroll past a series of trees planted by Rotary with a stunning view of the River Tees, a perfect spot to pause and take in the natural surroundings.
  • AV Dawson Painted Wall – Enjoy the vibrant and colourful artwork as you walk past this iconic landmark.
  • Tees Barrage and White Water Centre – Experience the excitement of the Tees Barrage and the nearby White Water Centre, a thrilling part of the route.
  • Stockton’s Wonder Bridges – Walk under and admire these beautiful bridges before heading back towards the college to collect your well-earned medal!
