Our Midnight Walk is back for 2026! Join us in lighting up the streets of Redcar and Marske with your friends and family, while raising money in memory of your loved ones for Teesside Hospice.
After raising an amazing £80,000 in 2025 with almost 700 walkers, we’re ready to make this year’s walk even more impactful and fun. Who will you walk for this year?
Our mission is to help families make the most of every day, creating lasting memories and experiences. By walking 11km through Redcar and Marske in the middle of the night, you’ll be helping create more memories for those living with a life limiting illness in Teesside.
When
Saturday 14th March 2026, registrations open at 8pm, and we ask that all participants arrive no later than 9:30pm, to ensure you are registered on time. Our Teesside Hospice staff and volunteers will be here to sign you in. Here, you’ll be able to register, collect your T-Shirt and flashing head boppers, drop off any sponsorship money and enjoy our tuckshop and entertainment while getting hyped up for your walk!

Teesside Hospice exists to support people living with a terminal illness, helping them live as well as possible, for as long as possible. It costs £6.75 million annually to run our services – that’s almost £18,500 every 24 hours.
Although there's no minimum sponsorship required, we're aiming to raise £100,000 this year.
Here's how your sponsorship could benefit our hospice:
£100 can provide 4 hours of expert nursing care, ensuring dignity, comfort, and personal support for our patients in our 10-bed Inpatient Unit (IPU).
£250 can help grieving children and young people throughout the year- giving them comforting books, Worry Monsters, Wish Strings, Pocket Hugs, and Jellycat toys.
£300 can fund essential slide sheets for every bed in our IPU, making it easier to move patients gently and comfortably.
£500 can provide specialist training for a hospice staff member, ensuring the best possible care and best practice.
£1,000 can fund 40 hours of specialist nursing in our IPU, delivering compassionate, person-centred care- or purchase a vital syringe driver, ensuring patients remain comfortable and pain-free.
Your support ensures that people in Teesside can die with dignity and live well for as long as possible, surrounded by the best care.
If you want to be a part of Midnight Walk but aren't able to walk, why not help us by volunteering on the night? As a charity, Teesside Hospice relies on amazing volunteers to help to make our Midnight Walk a successful and safe event for everyone involved.
Whether you help out at registrations, be a marshall along the walking route, distribute T-Shirts or be our on-site glitter fairy, every little helps!
