Ladies from across the region are invited to join the crew who will be coming ashore to put their best foot forward in support of Teesside Hospice. The Seaside Starlight Stroll is a ladies only, 7 mile sponsored walk along the famous Redcar Promenade to Marske and back.
Now in its 7th year the Hospice’s flagship event has taken on a swashbuckling twist and 2,000 crew mates of all ages and fitness levels are needed to take part in what is now the region’s largest late night ladies only sponsored walk.
Get your family and friends together to make your own crew to help raise as many funds possible for Teesside Hospice. This local event is a vital resource to your Hospice and all money raised goes directly towards providing care to local people suffering from advanced cancer and other life limiting illnesses.
This year’s stroll is set to be the grandest yet so don’t miss out! Entry is £15 and this includes your very own pirate pack – a Mutiny Manual, training top, medal for when you have completed the stroll and tasty rations to finish.
Gather your girls and be part of the crew!
Registration from 8pm at Redcar & Cleveland College, walk commences at 10pm.

Jane O’Byrne, Fundraising Manager at Teesside Hospice, said, “We are so excited about this year’s Seaside Starlight Stroll! A pirate takeover is certainly a twist and Redcar is the perfect setting for it. I hope all our past participants return for what is set to be the grandest stroll yet and we hope that many more ladies will come along and experience this phenomenal evening. Come on ladies – be part of the best crew around and help to make a difference to local people that need it most.”
The Seaside Starlight Stroll is kindly sponsored by Redcar and Cleveland Council.
