Justgiving makes it easy to donate and raise funds for Teesside Hospice.

It used to be a hassle. Lots of fussing around with cheques and envelopes and paper sponsorship forms. But thanks to the internet, it’s not like that any more. Now anyone can create a fundraising page on Justgiving to collect donations in support of any sponsored event or appeal. Since it's launch in 2001, 3,000+ member charities have collected over £150m through Justgiving. That’s over 3 million people and 300,000 fundraising pages to date.

What are fundraising pages?

They’re just like paper sponsorship forms used to be, except they’re online, so they don’t get all tatty round the edges. Instead of traipsing round your office asking people to give you cash, you simply create a fundraising page, email it out, and your supporters donate online. You can create an online fundraising page for absolutely anything. Whether you’re running a marathon, launching a personal appeal, collecting donations in lieu of birthday presents or doing absolutely nothing.

Does it work?

Donations made through Justgiving are processed in real time through Barclays. Funds are paid into a legal trust account and transferred directly to Teesside Hospice at the end of every week.

We automatically reclaim Gift Aid on all donations made by UK taxpayers. Funds received from HMRC are paid into a legal trust account and are transferred to Teesside Hospice at the end of every month.

Justgiving provide Teesside Hospice with detailed reports on all money donated and raised by their supporters.

Since it's launch in 2001, 2,500 member charities have collected more than £130 million through Justgiving.

More than 3 million people have used our site to donate or raise funds. Over 300,000 fundraising pages have been created, raising an average of £534 each. The average donation through Justgiving is £30.
