Fundraising

The Trading Company seek to increase the profile of the Hospice in the local community, creating partnerships, educating and promoting the work of Teesside Hospice Care Foundation.

It is Teesside Hospice Trading’s aim to ensure the financial security of Teesside Hospice Care Foundation by bridging the shortfall between operating costs and the local NHS income. Most people are surprised to learn that Teesside Hospice’s annual running costs are in excess of £2.1 million. We receive in the region of one third of these costs from the local NHS and must therefore raise approximately £4,100 each and every day of the year from our own resources, most of which is generated by the activities of our Trading Company.

Teesside Hospice is very fortunate, the Trading Company is made up of a hard working, proactive team of staff and volunteers, who work tirelessly and efficiently and are constantly looking at new fundraising opportunities to maximise the funds raised for the Hospice.
